The complete number of Kyrgyzstan gambling dens is something in some dispute. As info from this state, out in the very remote central part of Central Asia, tends to be difficult to get, this might not be too difficult to believe. Regardless if there are two or three authorized gambling halls is the element at issue, maybe not quite the most earth-shattering piece of data that we do not have.
What no doubt will be correct, as it is of the lion’s share of the old USSR states, and definitely true of those located in Asia, is that there no doubt will be a good many more not legal and backdoor casinos. We understand that located in Bishkek, the capital city, there is the Casino Las Vegas (an amazingly unique title, don’t you think?), which has both table games and one armed bandits. We can also find both the Casino Bishkek and the Xanadu Casino. The pair of these offer 26 slots and 11 gaming tables, separated between roulette, vingt-et-un, and poker. Given the remarkable similarity in the square footage and layout of these two Kyrgyzstan gambling halls, it might be even more astonishing to determine that the casinos are at the same location. This appears most difficult to believe, so we can clearly conclude that the list of Kyrgyzstan’s gambling dens, at least the authorized ones, stops at two members, 1 of them having changed their title a short while ago.
The state, in common with nearly all of the ex-Soviet Union, has experienced something of a rapid change to free market. The Wild East, you could say, to refer to the chaotic circumstances of the Wild West a century and a half back.
Kyrgyzstan’s gambling halls are actually worth going to, therefore, as a bit of social analysis, to see cash being played as a type of collective one-upmanship, the absolute consumption that Thorstein Veblen talked about in 19th century u.s..
